Tolkien’s stories of Middle-Earth is coming this fall. “The Fall Of Númenor” takes place during the Second Age, which is described in “The Lord of the Rings” as a dark time where history was sparse. Actor John Cena is being celebrated by The Make-A-Wish Foundation for his contributions to the organization. Since doing his first wish for the foundation, Cena has granted over 650 wishes to critically ill children. According to Make-A-Wish and the WWE, this is the most wishes any celebrity has granted. Cena is also the most requested Make-A-Wish visit by children. The two organizations marked the occasion on social media, where they recognize efforts comforting children and their family. The Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco is getting ready for a legendarily foul plant to bloom. The 4 foot, 4 inch tall flower is an endangered plant known as the titan arum, or, the corpse flower. The name comes from the odor it emits, which is described as smelling somewhere between dead animals and moldy gym socks. Three new animated films set in the world of “Avatar” are in the works at Paramount Pictures. They will be handled by Avatar Studios, a new division of Paramount and Nickelodeon, founded by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, co-creators of “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” They will be full-length animated feature films.
