Spun from the same fibers of “The Sandman” universe, “Dead Boy Detectives” is here to steal your heart and solve your cases.

George Rexstrew and Jayden Revri shine as the titular sleuths, both of whom happen to be passed on and avoiding Death. Their paths cross with Kassius Nelson as memory challenged medium Crystal Palace, and Yuyu Kitamura as grieving but hopeful Niko. The quartet have otherworldly chemistry, and you’ll find yourself immediately invested in their hijinks.

“The Flight Attendant” developer Steve Yockey serves at the helm of the project, with the blessing of original creator Neil Gaiman. His fellow showrunner is Beth Schwartz who has spent time in Greg Berlanti’s corner of DC, having worked on “Arrow” and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.” Berlanti serves as an executive producer of the series.

    More about ”Dead Boy Detectives”:

Do you have a pesky ghost haunting you? Has a demon stolen your core memories? You may want to ring the Dead Boy Detectives.

Meet Edwin Payne (Rexstrew) and Charles Rowland (Revri), “the brains” and “the brawn” behind the Dead Boy Detectives agency. Teenagers born decades apart who find each other only in death, Edwin and Charles are best friends and ghosts… who solve mysteries. They will do anything to stick together – including escaping evil witches, Hell and Death herself. With the help of a clairvoyant named Crystal ( Nelson) and her friend Niko (Kitamura), they are able to crack some of the mortal realm’s most mystifying paranormal cases.
