A couple weeks ago I wrote a piece about a wonderful up and coming band from Cleveland called Herzog. Fresh off the release of their new album Me vs. You, the group is poised to do something very special in the near future. You can read the article by clicking this link. Our editor, Breana Ceballos was kind enough to patch me through to Tony Vorell and Nick Tolar of Herzog who took some much appreciated time to answer a few of my questions. Check out the interview below!! Thank you very much for allowing me to have this opportunity…

Here’s something unexpected for you… According to reporting from CNN.com on April 25th, an unfinished sequel to Anthony Burgess book turned iconic Stanley Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange. While the manuscript doesn’t follow little Alex’s post Ludovico Treatment years where he moves to suburban dystopian England and opens a hardware store. It’s more of a non-fiction work that highlights Burgess’ opinions on a wide range of subjects as a response to the outrage his book, through association with Kubrick’s film, sparked at the time. I certainly wasn’t born yet but back in 1970’s there were many cases of life imitating…
I hope you enjoyed the last episode of Game Of Thrones… that could be the last time we see some of those faces. Here I thought the final season of GoT would be a balls to the wall bloodbath where characters fall every ten minutes. And turns out I was totally wrong. In fact the first two episodes from our last dance with GoT have been quite the opposite. For people who jumped on the bandwagon after season three, you’re probably bored as hell. Where are all the dead bodies and boobs you felt you were promised? Don’t worry there’ll…
It seems as though we’ll never see a man as well rounded as one Glenn Danzig. You might know him as of the frontman of the legendary horror punk band Misfits and also a solo artist who has way more songs than “Mother”. He’s also a cat guy. Now Glenn is set to add another milestone to his already impressive resume. Bloody-Disgusting.com reported on April 18th that Wolverine before Hugh Jackman will direct what his Facebook page describes as a Vampire Spaghetti-Western. “Danzig has just put the finishing touches on the script for his next film which will be a…
For the last couple months a once demoralized DC Extended Universe has radiated a ton of positivity and intrigue. Shazam! turned out to be a surprise success, both financially and critically. The internet is still buzzing about the Joaquin Phoenix Joker trailer. We have a Wonder Woman sequel on the horizon, plus a new face playing Batman. If you’re a DC fan I’ll bet you’re happy you didn’t throw in towel after Justice League tanked. Underneath all of those headlines is another project I almost forgot was filming… Birds Of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). You…
For the first time since the pilot, Game Of Thrones delivered a perfectly executed premiere. Let’s be realistic, GoT is more of an episode two through the penultimate episode television program. Think about it, with the exception maybe the Wall coming down, Jon Snow dying, or the shear brutality of bringing Robert Baratheon’s bastard babies to their deaths, everything the show will be remembered for took place in a non-premiere or non-finale installment of the series. But honestly, that seems to be a trend in most HBO content. On Sunday night I feel Weiss and Benioff delivered a start to…
So I’m one of many midwestern transplants currently residing Los Angeles and I’ll be the first one to tell you that some of the horror stories you’ve about the California cost of living are one hundred percent true. Insert the usual talking points (rent, gas) here. While not everything will drain your bank account by Monday morning, it’s important to save a little bit here and there because you never know when the life will bring you back to the real world. And you want to talk about a shot of the real world… imagine checking your bank statement after…
Don’t click away just yet, I promise you this is not a joke. As most of you know, David Hasselhoff, of Baywatch, Knight Rider, and a cameo in the Baywatch movie fame, is also a pretty popular musician, especially overseas. Allow me to bring up the fact that his song “Looking For Freedom” was a number one single in Germany, in 1989. Believe it or not but he’s actually making a new album. ConsequenceOfSound.net reported on April 9th that the Hoff and producer Adam Hamilton have been in the studio recording tracks including covers from Echo & The Bunnymen, Jesus…
So Shazam! was pretty damn good… Seriously, I repeatedly looked around the theater and saw legitimate smiles, heard legitimate laughs, saw legitimate surprise on everyone’s faces during the big third act wow moment. There were times even I was shocked to see the audience getting that much enjoyment out of a DC movie. For a moment I thought I had stepped into a parallel dimension, but I didn’t. This was a real Sunday afternoon in the City of Angels. Personally I feel I suck ass at writing movie reviews. Still trying to develop that element of my writing so I…
Remember how a Beetlejuice sequel was in development? Well according to reporting from USAToday.com on April 4th, the project has levitated off the Winter River Bridge. Or to put it less poetically, not happening anymore. During the usual press stuff for his latest release Dumbo, director Tim Burton fielded a couple questions about the rumored continuation of the Betelgeuse saga and I delivered a brief, but direct response; “I don’t know. I doubt it.” Then proceed to avoid questions better than a certain current White House Press Secretary. What interesting to note is the above quote was asked as a…
