You’ve seen Honey, I Shrunk The Kids right? It’s a classic 1989 non-animated Disney feature presentation about a quirky inventor named Wayne Szalinski, played by the retired yet not forgotten Rick Moranis, who has a machine capable of shrinking things down from normal to miniature sized. If you couldn’t tell from the title, the movie gets complicated when his kids, and two of the neighbor’s kids, are shrunk to a quarter of an inch, thrown in the trash, then sent on a crazy adventure through the front yard in hopes of being restored to their regular measurements. The film was…

If Stephen King’s It, yes the one from 2017, scared the crap out of you, just know it could have been weirder, and more terrifying. Believe it or not there was a scene deemed too frightening to make the final cut. TheIndependent.com reported that they were actually going to have a pre-clown Pennywise mauling a six-year old child during Derry’s Pilgrim years. Yeah… one could understand how it might have been a little much. But also, I feel the audience was deprived of getting a chance to see our shape-shifting killer Bozo in a setting we’ve never seen before which…

Finally, the experimental metal band Tool announced the release date for their new album. August 30th, 2019. Did you think it was ever going to happen? Personally I felt we were on the verge of another Chinese Democracy but now that I know the record is on its way, I’m literally praying to our Lord and Savior that the new Tool album is the farthest thing from Guns & Roses’ Slashless blowpus, Chinese Democracy. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the reference, I’ll briefly explain. Believe it or not but at one point Guns & Roses were on…

Karen O… Danger Mouse… never has a modern day musical pairing made more sense since David Byrne and St. Vincent. If tomorrow was New Year’s Eve, their 2019 collaborative effort known as Lux Prima would easily be on my now semi-infamous “Top 8 Albums Of The Year” article that I write for Nerdbot. And not to give away a spot on that list too early, but I have a sneaking suspicion I’ll be writing about this record again. According to the New York Times their joining was derived from a drunk dial phone call O. made to Brian Joseph Burton…

The high school version of me is creaming in his imitation Jnco jeans. Incubus, you remember them right? On May 6th, ConsequenceOfSound.net reported that the Southern California one time funk metal and now more alternative rock band will hit the road for their 20 Years Of Make Yourself And Beyond Tour. While their article doesn’t specifically state the band will play their breakthrough 1999 album in its entirety, I’d bet they bust out the full record the moment the lights go out. Why not? Everyone else is doing it. I saw Third Eye Blind rock their debut record live and…

Nicolas Cage always seems to be playing a game of how far can I go off the rails. As if the last couple of years he’s become more known for his obscure off screen antics than what he’s actually done on screen. Which kinda sucks because Cage has flown under the radar recently and knocked out a couple solid performances. I’ve heard good things about Mandy and Joe was every bit of raw in all the right ways. It’s like he grew a beard and became an entirely different actor. So in the endless cycle of “Cageanigans”, ConsequenceOfSound.net reported on…

Alright, it’s been a couple of days, so if you haven’t watched the latest episode of Game Of Thrones… number one, what is wrong with you? And two, find something else to read ASAP because there are going to be spoilers. Oh yes, there will be spoilers. Now I’m not going to review the episode because honestly I’m still processing the greatness of what took place on our television screens this past Sunday. Even though you could hardly make out what was happening sometimes, I personally feel that HBO delivered a signature installment of the show, but possibly some of…

A couple weeks ago I wrote a piece about a wonderful up and coming band from Cleveland called Herzog. Fresh off the release of their new album Me vs. You, the group is poised to do something very special in the near future. You can read the article by clicking this link. Our editor, Breana Ceballos was kind enough to patch me through to Tony Vorell and Nick Tolar of Herzog who took some much appreciated time to answer a few of my questions. Check out the interview below!! Thank you very much for allowing me to have this opportunity…

Here’s something unexpected for you… According to reporting from CNN.com on April 25th, an unfinished sequel to Anthony Burgess book turned iconic Stanley Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange. While the manuscript doesn’t follow little Alex’s post Ludovico Treatment years where he moves to suburban dystopian England and opens a hardware store. It’s more of a non-fiction work that highlights Burgess’ opinions on a wide range of subjects as a response to the outrage his book, through association with Kubrick’s film, sparked at the time. I certainly wasn’t born yet but back in 1970’s there were many cases of life imitating…

I hope you enjoyed the last episode of Game Of Thrones… that could be the last time we see some of those faces. Here I thought the final season of GoT would be a balls to the wall bloodbath where characters fall every ten minutes. And turns out I was totally wrong. In fact the first two episodes from our last dance with GoT have been quite the opposite. For people who jumped on the bandwagon after season three, you’re probably bored as hell. Where are all the dead bodies and boobs you felt you were promised? Don’t worry there’ll…
