From Pottery Barn and PB Teen comes a ‘Harry Potter’ line that is so beautiful, classy, and extensive that there’s no way fans of the franchise aren’t going to lose their minds. And every cent they have. Because the fact of the matter is this: Pottery Barn is expensive! Outrageously, outlandishly, and unnecessarily expensive. I first became aware of the brand when I foolish enough to think that decorating my first child’s room with a theme was a good idea. Seduced by the peaceful lifestyle projected by the Pottery Barn catalog, I was almost fooled into bankruptcy until my mind and senses resumed their…
As reported from Comicbook.com, The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus says it would be “fun” to play Marvel superheroes Ghost Rider or Silver Surfer. “Ghost Rider would be fun. Silver Surfer would be fun,” Reedus said when asked which Marvel role he’d take during Walker Stalker Con’s ‘An Evening with Norman & Jeffrey’ event, where he appeared for an intimate evening with fans alongside Walking Dead co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan. “Silver Surfer is awesome,” Morgan added. The Silver Surfer — the silvery, space-surfing former herald of planet-consuming alien Galactus — last appeared in the 2007 Fox-produced Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, performed by Doug…
Sephora will soon emerge as a mainstream purveyor of witchy products. Representatives for the cosmetics giant confirmed a report in the Glossy that the trendy perfume brand Pinrose will launch a “Starter Witch Kit” in stores and online on Oct. 9, in plenty of time for Halloween. The nine-piece set, which will retail for $42 plus tax, includes fragrances, as well as “standard witch paraphernalia”, such as tarot cards, sage, and a rose quartz crystal. According to QZ, Pinrose isn’t the first beauty brand to peddle mysticism alongside its core offerings. Fourth Ray Beauty, Seed Beauty’s latest fast-beauty project, just released a $150 Ritual Box that…

Led by the mysterious Caulder, they’re called into action by the ultimate hero for the digital age, Cyborg (Joivan Wade). Banding together, these rejects find themselves on a mission that will…
The happiest place on earth will get a little happier for a lot of people starting next summer, as Disneyland has decided to sell liquor at the theme park for the first time in its history. The images in this post were created by Nerdbot reader Aaron Russell. Follow him on Twitter or check out his website for more Photoshop Hilarity! Who doesn’t love Star Wars?! With its wild space antics, light saber battles, good guys versus bad guys, rebel scum versus Empire baddies, and representation for all, Star Wars is truly a pop-culture mainstay loved by generations. Especially you, Brian. And it wasn’t called A New Hope, dammit. IT WAS JUST STAR WARS. YOU SAW IT IN THE THEATERS! But man, despite that brilliance in there- is there some boner dialogue or what? So hitch up your Jedi, pull up your parsecs, and take…

Nerdbot wants to thank to Viz Media for the early review copy of ‘Radiant’ Vol 1 by Tony Valente. Radiant is a 2013 manga that’s actually not Japanese! Writer/Artist Tony Valente is French, though his debut manga Radiant was in fact published in Japan in 2013. He moved to Canada while writing the series and there perfected his manga-style art. And truly, he has perfected it; this book seriously looks and reads exactly like Japanese manga. I can’t help but wonder if Valente wrote his original book in French and it was the translated to Japanese, and the English…
Comicbook.com reports that a recent issue of Marvel’s Spider-Man contained artwork that was offensive to the Mormon faith, and Marvel and the artist have now responded. For context, issue #4 of Amazing Spider-Man has a scene where Spidey is shown with a number of endorsement logos on his costume. One of these contained the words CES Letter, which was a reference to a book of the same name that takes issue with the faith, and Marvel has now scrubbed that logo from the page for all future editions of the book (including digital) and has also removed Ottley’s other logos on the suit and…
