We’re seeing a new cast member join the Star Wars Universe and Disney’s “The Mandalorian” series. Nick Nolte has been added to the official cast list. The Millennium Falcon is ready for ignition at Disneyland in California. Things are busy at the Disney park located in Anaheim, California as construction is on going for the huge new park attraction, Star Wars Land! As posted by Heliguy on Instagram, we can see the entirety of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The overall landscape of the main lot is starting to take shape. It’s a sad day for Nickelodeon and cartoon fans everywhere. “SpongeBob SquarePants” creator Stephen Hillenburg has died at age 57. On Twitter, Nickelodeon says Hillenburg died Monday of Lou Gehrig’s disease, also known as ALS. Hillenburg created, wrote, produced and directed the animated series SpongeBob Sqaurepants. Here you can watch an interview with Stephen Hillenburg as he shares his interest in Marine Biology and how it eventually led him to create SpongeBob SquarePants. The show starting broadcasting in 1999 and has since became a worldwide phenomenon spawning hundreds of shows. He is survived by his wife, Karen, and son, Clay.

Our favorite dog avenger, John Wick is almost back! John Wick 3, starring Keanu Reeves has finished filming in a short 6 months. We saw this post on Instagram from Co-Star Halle Berry thanking the cast and crew for their work on the third installment of the franchise, marking the end of official filming. We’ve seen a few images come out of the John Wick 3 production, like this photo of John Wick riding a horse, through a busy street, being chased by motorcyclists. I’ll start by saying that I’m a huge Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan. And full disclosure, I’m 39 years old…so I consider myself a little old school. In the past few years we’ve seen a huge amount of new TMNT content. From the CGI driven Michael Bay films (meh), new hyper animated cartoons, actions figures, main stream clothing releases, etc. I’m happy that TMNT has persevered after it’s original 90’s dominance. Today’s secret word is MARATHON! Scream it loud! IFC announced via twitter that it will have a 24 hour Pee-Wee’s Playhouse marathon on it’s channel. The marathon kicks off at 6 am on IFC Thanksgiving morning. Pee-wee’s Playhouse ran from 1986 – 1990 with 5 seasons and 45 episodes. With host Paul Reuben, it’s held as a cult favorite among 80’s kids after the initial success of the movie Pee-wee’s Big Adventure in 1985.  Am I the only one that started locking up his bike after watching that movie?
