Much has been said of the legend of Lil Uzi and the large pink diamond implanted in his forehead. It was also just a matter of time before someone tried to pull a Thanos and rip the thing out. In a recent interview with TMZ, it was noticed that the aforementioned, 10 karat diamond, was nowhere to be seen on the forehead of the…

It’s time to poor one out for a long standing restaurant. Though I guess in this case, the ‘one’ that you’re pouring is going to be a Mountain Dew Baja Blast. One of the few remaining Taco Bell restaurants with the original architectural design and aesthetics closed its doors on September 7th, 2021. Built in 1967, only five years after the franchise opened its first store, the restaurant was a fixture in Laguna Beach for decades until the bell rang no more. The original design for Taco Bell attempted to replicate the kind of look of a Spanish California mission,…

If you’re a child of the 80s, chances are that when you were very young, your parents took you to see “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” when it premiered in theaters in 1990. If you were indeed like me, you were obsessed with the cartoon, the video games, the toys; all of it. Furthermore, if you’re still at this point, like me, then you left the TMNT movie having no idea what the hell happened during it. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is a rather unique example of a film that capitalized on a popular culture kid’s craze while doing virtually nothing to make it…

“Impeachment.” That’s the title for the upcoming third season of “American Crime Story.” While the first season gained monumental acclaim and awards for its depiction of the trial of OJ Simpson, the second season was less successful in its tackling of the murder of Gianni Versace. Though it was still well-received, it didn’t generate the same buzz that the first season did. This next season could be the biggest yet as it details the events surrounding former President Bill Clinton and his affair with White House intern, Monica Lewinsky. Aside from the amazing performances across most of the cast of…

His passing was announced on his Twitter earlier today on August 29th, 2021. It’s a blessing that we had Ed on this Earth for nine decades, with at least six of them…

The album cover to Nirvana’s 1991 album “Nevermind” is famous enough to where you don’t have to know the band’s music or even own the specific record, to know what it is. It helps that it’s the ban’s most iconic album, producing the songs “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “In Bloom,” and “Come as You Are” amongst others. Because of its success, that album cover of a nude baby in the water, seemingly going after a dollar bill on a fishing line, was thrust into the homes of millions. But now the baby’s come back, and he’s suing for child sexual…

On August 24th, 2021, it was announced that Charlie Watts, the drummer for legendary rock band The Rolling Stones, had passed away from undisclosed reasons. Watts, along with bandmates, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood have still been actively touring through the decades, even though the band members are well into their 70’s, with Watts himself passing away at the age of 80. It’s hard to write about a loss like this, even though accounts state that he passed away peacefully in the hospital, surrounded by family. The irony of it all is that despite the Stones reputation for…
