The one and only William Shatner is heading to space. But for REAL this time. He’ll be accompanying Amazon founder Jeff Bezos aboard Blue Origin’s lower Earth orbit next month. Shatner, who just turned 90, is familiar with starships, albeit the original Enterprise from “Star Trek.”
The initial report indicated the trip was part of a documentary, and that Shatner’s 15-minute mission would be part (if not the main focus) of the project.
Shatner will become the oldest person in history to experience space flight. He’ll surpass Wally Funk, who was 82 on his mission.
Also, he just dropped an album last week.
We’ll let you know what we find out about this and other news.
