We are very pleased to report that IO Interactive, the studio behind the massively successful Hitman games, is bringing another legendary gun-wielding character to a video game near you. His name is Bond. James Bond.
Posted by the company’s official Twitter this morning, a 17-second teaser of the 58-second real teaser trailer, showing off a 007 title complete with Bond franchises’ signature gun barrel iris.
A visit to the website listed in the above tweet reveals this:
“It’s Bond, James Bond. Project 007 (working title) is a brand new video game to be developed and published by IO Interactive.
Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world’s favorite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story.
IO Interactive is currently recruiting elite talent from around the world to join the team that will build out this exciting and unique gaming title.”
The 25th installment of the 007 James Bond film franchise, “No Time To Die,” is currently scheduled for a release on April 2nd, 2021.
