Sometimes, living in the digital age is kinda the best. We get treated to things like watching former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan relive a chapter of his 007 legacy on late night tv. Which in this case actually means seeing Brosnan play “Goldeneye 007” for the Nintendo 64 on a visit to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
As a HUGE Bond fan, I totally get where Jimmy Fallon is coming from here. He’s absolutely ecstatic, and says it was a childhood dream to play “Goldeneye” with Brosnan. I can’t even begin to image how many hours of my life I wasted on the freaking train level with the freaking watch laser cutting the freaking metal plate out of the bottom to escape. I still have serious war flashbacks.
“Goldeneye” actually celebrated its’ 25th anniversary in November of 2020, which you can read about here.
Late last year, IO Interactive actually announced a brand new James Bond game was in the works.
Anyhow- Brosnan was recently announced as joining Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming “Black Adam” film starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Brosnan will be playing iconic DC Comics character Dr. Fate, and we seriously can’t wait to see that.
Anyhow, please enjoy the segment and stay tuned for updates on when the 25th Bond film “No Time To Die” starring Daniel Craig actually releases. (It’s currently slated for October 8th, 2021.)
