THE Kurt Broz is not just a personality for Nerdbot, but he's also the editor-in-chief and a real live scientist! Born on the snowy shores of Lake Erie in good ol' Cleveland, Ohio, Kurt Broz has been there and back again, now residing in sunny Southern California. You can find THE Kurt Broz in cosplay, buying comics, hiking, and even writing for Nerdbot and WLFK Productions. He may be a child of the 80's but he is certainly a man of the world.

At Long Beach Comic Con 2017 I was lucky enough to interview one of my all-time favorite in ring performers, Rikishi. Source: KnokX Pro Entertainment.  Rikishi – real name Solofa F. When Richard Dawkins coined the term “meme” to describe a packet of information passed on within a culture, I don’t think he expected that to mean Salt Bae. Though I’m not an expert on biology. Oh, wait. I am. Still, memes became a cultural phenomenon as images, videos, or other bits of info passed on via the Interwebs. Hooray for memes! Teachers. Mothers. Secret lovers. 2017 was a lot of things, from a great year for pop culture to a political dumpster fire. We suffered Roy Moore, were split on The Last Jedi, and reminded by The Disaster Artist why…

The stage is set. Old, crotchety folks who don’t understand the youths want to ban… HOUSE PARTIES! What will Kid and Play do? Or, if you’re under 30, Project X. Well, true heroes – patriots in the vein of Patrick Henry – have arisen to save LA’s ability to get jiggy. Give us Four Loko, or give us death! Chad and JT said, well, something like that. Is everyone excited for Star Wars? I know I am. I have my ticket for opening night at the Chinese Theater in LA. But the REAL must see movie this month is Love and Saucers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRdxTk6BJvE Love and Saucers is a bizarre, touching documentary released this year. The film focuses on the life and art of David Higgins, a long-time claimed abductee who believes he had a romance (yes, sex too) with an alien. His fantasy – or perhaps reality? – I see told via his wonderful outsider art. It’s strange. It’s touching. It’s batshit crazy. You want aliens? You’ll…

Joe Manganiello may have popped up as (SPOILER) Deathstroke at the end of Justice League, but we didn’t get a great look at his suit. Until now… Thanks Joe Manganiello’s Twitter! I could complain about the not-quite-bright enough orange… but, damn. He looks great! Who the hell is Deathstroke, though? And why should you care? Source:DC. Deathstroke, AKA Slade Wilson, is basically the best assassain in the DC Universe. He’s also sometimes a true megalomaniacal villain and rarely a hero. His origin is simple  Slade Wilson joined the army. He realized he was good at killing people. Then he took…
