Ok, so, to recap- Nerdbot loves “Dune,” and we’ve been doing our best to keep you in the know on official releases for the upcoming Warner Bros., Legendary Pictures release from director Denis Villeneuve.

This has included various interviews, photos, comics, TOYS, games, and even a pretty detailed breakdown of everything we saw in that first trailer.

To follow up on the toy release teased by McFarlane Toys, we can show you the full “Dune” set, which is available to pre-order on Target now. They’re all set to release on November 20th, so it’ll be interesting to see if the film’s current release date of December 18th, 2020.

Right now, the line is five figures (technically 6, as you will be able to “Build-A-Beast” Rabban with the extra parts that come with each of the 5) which include Stilgar, The Lady Jessica, Paul Atreides, Duncan Idaho, and Baron Vladimir Harkonnen.

But, much like the official Funko release of Pops for the movie, we’re left loudly asking WHERE THE HELL IS CHANI.

Stilar, Jessica, and Paul all come with the signature Fremen blade, a Crysknife. In the lore of the book, the crysknife is the filed-down tooth of a Shai Hulud, one of the sandworms of Arrakis. We haven’t seen what one looks like in the film yet (because you know, then we’d never be able to leave the planet of Dune and live), but considering how close the costumes and likniesses are with these McFarlane Toys, it’s a pretty good bet they’ll look like this accessory.

    Fremen Crysknife

We’ll start with Duncan Idaho, who is being played by Jason Momoa.

    • Duncan Idaho is featured in a Fremen Stillsuit that enables the human body to survive in the sun-scorched open deserts of Arrakis.
    • Comes with 2 swords, a base, and the piece to the Build-A Rabban figure (arms)
    • Designed with Ultra Articulation with up to 22 moving parts for full range of posing and play

    • Designed with Ultra Articulation with up to 22 moving parts for full range of posing and play

    You can pre-order her here.

Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, played by Stellan Skarsgård

    • 12-inch Deluxe Figure is based on the character played by Stellan Skarsgård in the upcoming film DUNE
    • Features Baron in his Double Armor Suit
    • Includes flight stand for realistic posing and a base
    • When assembled on the flight stand, the Barron hovers menacingly over the DUNE themed base

This is what the Beast Rabban, played by Dave Bautista, will look like when built.

Anyhow, we cannot WAIT to see “Dune” when it hits the big screen.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
