Play as Your Favorite Disney Baddie with Monopoly: Disney Villains Edition

While the idea of a themed Monopoly game isn’t new, or even highlighting the various baddies from across Walt Disney’s long and storied history (in fact, there is already a Disney Villains board game), we kind of love this brand new Monopoly: Disney Villains Edition.

The “fast-dealing property trading game” special edition has some fun twists this time around:

Imagine classic Disney villains stealing, scheming, and competing to see who is the most evil of all! In this Monopoly Board Game: Disney Villains Edition, players travel around the board using a villain token and play as Cruella, Jafar, Scar, Evil Queen, Maleficent, or Hook.

The more villains a player hires, the more rent they’ll be able to collect. Activate a character’s special ability by acquiring the Flames of Power ring, change gameplay with Poison Apple cards, and advance on the board by landing on a Vehicle space. The last player with money when all other players have gone bankrupt wins!

You can pick up your copy of Monopoly: Disney Villains Edition on Amazon here.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
