Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

We are very sad to report HBO’s “Barry” is ending. Season 4 is due out next month, and it will reportedly be the last. Series star (also co-creator, writer, and director) Bill Hader confirmed the news this morning. But it isn’t all tears for the assassin-turned-actor-turned-assassin, as there was ALSO a teaser released. Hader directed every episode of season 4, no small fete. “It’s kind of an ongoing goodbye right now. Remember how Elon Musk toyed with the idea of rolling out a subscription service (a paid service, mind you) for Twitter users? Yeah. The deployment of that was actually pushed back, from mid February til apparently this morning. Users are reporting their ability to click any kind of links on the platform result in the same error message. So far, there has been no official comment from Musk or Twitter about the rollout or current issue. We’ll let you know what we hear. This just in- we have a cast list for director Fede Alvarez’s upcoming “Alien” film! David Jonsson (“Industry”), Archie Renaux (“Shadow and Bone”), Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu have joined already announced star Cailee Spaeny in the project from 20th Century Studios. Millennium Media’s upcoming reboot of the Hellboy film franchise has reportedly found their new Big Red. According to a press release from the studio, Jack Kesy (“Deadpool 2,” “The Strain”) will carry the Right Hand of Doom. “Jack Kesy is a dynamic actor who has the ability to morph into his roles. This just in-after it was reported HBO Max’s upcoming “Dune: The Sisterhood” series lost their director Johan Renck, we know why he departed.
