The upcoming animated film from Universal Pictures and Illumination about the most popular video game brothers ever getting a new release date. Okay sure, it’s not like….SUPER different, but its a change. Originally, “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” was double jumping into theaters on April 7th. Starring Chris Pratt and Charlie Day as Mario and Luigi, the film also features Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Jack Black as Bowser.Now, it’s super-starring it’s way to an April 5th opening. Happy Pokémon Day! The anniversary of Pokémon Red and Green getting released in 1996, this particular day just had an interesting bit of news. THIS JUST IN-A new deal has been struck between Warner Bros. This just in- Marvel Studios’ upcoming “Thunderbolts” film just added a “The Walking Dead” alum! According to multiple sources, Steven Yeun has joined the cast. This just in-it would appear “Rogers: The Musical” is actually happening! A one-act version of the show, first teased in Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye,” will be making it’s debut on the Hyperion Stage at California Adventure in Disneyland! You know that thing where EVERYONE is making live-action projects out of their beloved animated classics? Yeah. Disney is still doing that, with “Lilo & Stitch.” While we don’t know much about the adaptation, we do know Oscar-nominated director Dean Fleischer Camp (“Marcel the Shell With Shoes On”) will helm, from a script by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright. And, as of today, a bit of casting.Sounds like Zach Galifianakis will star. Could he possibly be playing Stitch? Maybe Dr. Jumba? No one knows! Disneyland After Dark Star Wars Nite is happening across four dates- May 2nd, May 4th, May 8th, and May 11th. This just in- Marvel Studios’ upcoming “Captain Marvel” sequel “The Marvels” has a new poster, and a new release date. Originally slated to fly into theaters July 28th, 2023, it’ll now be releasing November 10th, 2023. “Candyman” reboot helmer Nia DaCosta is directing “The Marvels,” which will again star Oscar winner Brie Larson as Captain Marvel. The film will also include Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, played by Iman Vellani, star of Disney+’s “Ms. Marvel” series.
