Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

Jenna Ortega, star of Netflix’s hit series “Wednesday,” may (or may not) be joining the ever-long-gestating “Beetlejuice 2” film. Rumors of a followup film based on Tim Burton’s 1988 classic “Beetlejuice” starring Michael Keaton, Geena Davis, Winnona Rider, Catherine O’Hara, and Alec Baldwin pop up every 6 months or so. But so far, nothing concrete has happened. That said, with the success of “Wednesday,” which Burton…

This just in-Some big news from the “Star Wars” universe. Sounds like Marvel Studios CEO Kevin Feige’s galaxy far, far away film, as well as Patty Jenkins’ gestating “Rogue Squadron” films have both been axed. The report, from Variety, also indicates Taika Waititi’s announced-but-mysterious project is still in developing. Waititi is possibly planning to star, as well.

This will mark The Punisher’s introduction, officially, into the larger MCU. We are very sad to report HBO’s “Barry” is ending. Season 4 is due out next month, and it will reportedly be the last. Series star (also co-creator, writer, and director) Bill Hader confirmed the news this morning. But it isn’t all tears for the assassin-turned-actor-turned-assassin, as there was ALSO a teaser released.
