“Fallout 76” fans got a nice holiday surprise. Last night, the game’s latest DLC expansion “Steel Dawn” surprise launched a week early. Originally, the DLC was set to launch on December 1. However, it instead launched last night after a scheduled maintenance period. In a blog post, Bethesda admits that this early launch is the result of an accident. Mojang Studios is not messing around. Recently, the developer added new moderation tools to the Bedrock version of “Minecraft.” Of these tools, the most intense is the ability to permanently ban players from the game. Permabans will be given to any players that violate community standards “when sending online messages using our services (Realms) or Featured Servers, and communicating online through signposts and books.” The Bedrock version is the primary version of “Minecraft.” Those who use the Java edition will be unaffected by these new tools. Yesterday, Square Enix formally announced a new installment in the Tomb Raider franchise. “Tomb Raider Reloaded” is a free-to-play, action arcade game blasting onto mobile platforms next year.
