Hi, I’m Ada. I like long walks in the graveyard, horror movies, comic books, and bringing you the latest in nerd-centric news.

Police comedy show “Reno 911!” is back on Comedy Central with a new special “Reno 911!: It’s a Wonderful Heist.” This new feature-length special will be a riff on the 1946 classic holiday film “It’s a Wonderful Life.”  In the first trailer, we see Lieutenant Dangle (Thomas Lennon) at a low point. So low in fact he begs a Christmas angel atop a shopping mall for some kind of guidance. In typically “Reno 911!” fashion, he gets a semi-twisted version of his wish when angel/sex worker Terry (Nick Swardson) arrives to show him a world without him in it. But…

Marvel Studios’ upcoming film adaptation of the “Blade” comic books has found a new director with Yann Demange! In late September, previously announced director Bassam Tariq (“Mogul Mowgli”) exited the project due to issues with scheduling. In early October, Marvel Studios announced they would be pausing production until a new director was found. Which is often a very risky move for studios, but one source claimed they were taking their time because they “want to really get it right.”  Production on “Blade” was supposed to start this month but instead, the studio took the time to revamp the script and…

Yacht designs for the ultra-wealthy just keep getting more and more elaborate, don’t they? Well, the Lazzarini Design Studio may have just won the game with their concept for the terayacht. Which is basically just a floating city adorably shaped like a giant turtle. The vessel is called Pangeos, a direct reference to Pangea, the supercontinent that existed millions of years ago. Specifically during the late Paleozoic and early Mesozoic eras. It bills itself as “the floating city of the future,” of course only if you can afford it. This whole idea started back in 2009 when designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini…
