Survivor 50 Episode 7 Predictions: Who Will Be Voted Off Next?

Wow episode 6 of Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans was bonkers! Now that we’re in the middle of craziness it’s kind of up in the air over who will be voted off. Since they merged and then chose groups for the challenge we’re unsure if those groups will remain the same within the merged tribe.

DON’T READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED THE THIRD EPISODE UNLESS YOU WANT SPOILERS

As a reminder here’s who has been voted off or ejected from the island already.

Kyle Fraser (VATU)– medically evacuated after a likely Achilles injury during a challenge.
Jenna Lewis-Dougherty (CILA)– first player voted out after targeting Cirie Fields.
Savannah Louie (CILA)– voted out in the second episode after Cirie redirected the vote.
Q Burdette (Voted out in episode 3 after a chaotic performance following the tribe swap. His tactic backfired.
Kamilla Karthigesu (Voted out this episode)
Genevieve Mushaluk (Voted out this episode)
Colby Donaldson (Voted out this episode)

And here’s who has an idol:

Rizo: Possesses the BEBI passed from Genevieve
Ozzy Lusth: Received an idol from Genevieve.
Aubry Bracco: Received a boomerang idol from Christian
Cirie Fields: Possesses an extra vote advantage passed by Ozzy

    Episode Recap

This episode was a big one for multiple reasons. They did something never before seen on Survivor by voting out three people. Not only that but they had three groups defined within the 17 castaways. This was after they merged and told everyone on the island to search for a hidden advantage. Without knowing what it would be they all went searching for it. Ozzy found it and funnily enough said “I hope it’s not for exile island.” And it was exactly for that. He was required to choose one person to take with him and they didn’t have a say. So when he chose Rizo we were all a little surprised.

The logic behind it was pretty sound. He needed someone that wasn’t obviously working with him. It may not have been ideal for them but seeing how the episode played out it was a BIG advantage not to have to be part of the chopping block chaos the rest of the castaways had to endure. Also taking Rizo to the island was a big win for Ozzy as they connected and both told each other their current idol/extra vote situation.

When the immunity challenge started the castaways were split into three groups of five for an immunity challenge. Each group would then head to a separate Tribal Council to vote someone out. The person who lasted longest in each group could not be voted out. Jeff also let the teams know that whoever was voted out would NOT be on the council but after this vote, the rest of them would be.

    The Challenge

In this challenge, castaways had to hold themselves up between two parallel walls by standing on narrow footholds. As the challenge progressed, they were forced to move to even smaller footholds, making it increasingly difficult to maintain their balance.

    Tribal Council Recaps

    1. Pink Group (Kamilla Voted Out, 3-2): Jonathan Young acted as the swing vote between two pairs of women. Despite his previous bond with Kamilla, Chrissy Hofbeck convinced him that Kamilla and Tiffany were only using him. Jonathan sided with Chrissy and Stephenie to blindside Kamilla.
    2. Blue Group (Genevieve Voted Out, 4-0): The long-running feud between Aubry Bracco and Genevieve Mushaluk ended. Knowing she was the target, Genevieve attempted to flip Christian against Rick Devens, but Christian found her “too dangerous.” Genevieve played her Shot in the Dark, but it was “Not Safe,” and she was voted out unanimously.
    3. Orange Group (Colby Voted Out, 4-0): This was a somber Tribal featuring three legends: Cirie, Coach, and Colby. Colby Donaldson, suffering from a foot injury and lacking a vote due to a previous loss, was the primary target. Though Coach tried to shift the target to Emily, Cirie Fields convinced the women that Colby was a greater social threat. Colby was voted out unanimously in an emotional exit.

    So Who Will Go Next?

Well, depending on if the new groupings remain the same or not we have some ideas. If the new groups stay we think that the immunity winners from this episode will be targeted if they don’t win immunity again. Obviously for the Blue Group Christian would have been the best one to get off but he won immunity completely by chance since everyone dropped out in the challenge. Then we have Dee who won for the Orange Group. She’s consistent with her immunity wins so she would be the smartest to vote off but we really hope she doesn’t go out like that. For the Pink Group it was Stephenie LaGrossa who not only won immunity but also the Applebee’s reward for her group.

Who Would Be the Biggest Shakeup on the Island?

Since this season features so many good players it’s really hard to say at this point who the biggest threat is. Rizo would be a smart move but he has an immunity idol and allies that would 100% tell him if he was being targeted. That same scenario goes for Ozzy. If one of them were to go it would put the rest of the castaways in a frenzy much like when the queen bee dies and every other bee scatters frantically looking for a new leader. Another one would be Cirie because she’s such a pillar in this game. Everyone respects her judgement.

    Final Thoughts

So with that there’s a lot up in the air since we just don’t know what will happen next. Usually on Survivor we can kind of guess but this season is off the rails.
