One Piece season 3 has officially been titled! Many fans of the series have been waiting to see exactly what season 3 would cover and how far it would go. Now we know that it will in fact cover all of the Alabasta arc in the manga.

The third installment will be called “One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta”. It will follow Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hats as they make their way to the desert kingdom of Alabasta. Vivi will play a significant part in the season as they are going to her homeland to fix what’s going on with Baroque Works. We’re also excited because it looks like we’ll get to see Vivi’s companion duck.

    The logline says:

“A rebellion threatens to tear the nation apart, fueled in secret by one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the ruthless Sir Crocodile, and his underground syndicate Baroque Works, who seek to conquer Alabasta for themselves. In a season defined by unbreakable bonds and impossible choices, the Straw Hats must face a brewing civil war and a powerful warlord to save Vivi’s kingdom before it crumbles into the sand. Fans can look forward to formidable new enemies and brand-new worlds where the stakes have never been higher.”

    A New Animated Lego Special

The series is going to be expanding with a two-part animated Lego special. It will retell the events of the first two seasons. It’s expected to have the same vibe as other Lego specials and lean on the more humorous side of storytelling. There is a sneak peak of the Lego special that you can watch down below.

Since the premiere of the live action on Netflix, One Piece has racked up close to 100 million views. The second season that came out on March 10th of this year still remains No. 1 on the Global Top 10 list.

Are you excited for season 3? We know we are! Stay tuned for more One Piece news here at Nerdbot.
