Disney is starting to really ramp up its marketing for the upcoming live-action Snow White. On Valentine’s Day, the studio released a new teaser featuring the song “Whistle While You Work.”  “Snow White” is a live-action musical adaptation of the classic fairy tale by the Brothers Grim, and a remake of Disney’s classic 1937 animated film. Are you ready to head back to Panem? Well, “Hunger Games” franchise director Francis Lawrence certainly is! The filmmaker recently gave an update on pre-production for the series’ upcoming entry “Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.” “Sunrise on the Reaping” will be based on Suzanne Collins’ soon-to-be-released prequel novel of the same name. The upcoming “Legally Blonde” prequel series “Elle” has found its star. Lexi Minetree (“The Murdaugh Murders”) will portray a teenage Elle Woods! The role was originally filled by Reese Witherspoon, who broke the news to Minetree in an adorable exchange. It’s been 60 years since Hammer Films graced horror hounds with a new monster. The studio just announced it is unleashing the mysterious “Ithaqua” onto the big screen. Language learning app Duolingo is continuing its crusade of perplexing marketing campaigns. The app has announced that its animated owl mascot Duo has died.
