Turns out, the previously releases schedule of events isn’t completely accurate, as now we know the DC FanDome will be splitting into more focused pieces. We’re still getting the Saturday August 22nd event, but it’s being rebranded as the “Hall of Heroes,” and will focus on the DCEU films and upcoming video games. As host Aisha Tyler teases, the virtual stage area was designed by Jim Lee himself, and will feature panels, trailers, and goodies from across the Warner Bros. films. This will YES include the first footage of “The Batman,” as director Matt Reeves teases in the all-new trailer.…

ANOTHER terribly important casting announcement- we have our Min! What would the Aes Sedai be with Liandrin?!

While we’re on the subject of new and beloved things to watch as quarantine rages on, here’s everything coming to Disney+ in September 2020. The House of Mouse’s streaming service has some pretty great titles dropping next month, like the second and third films in the peewee hockey franchise, “The Mighty Ducks.” Also, that little live-action reboot of an animated tale, “Mulan.” (that was sarcasm, by the way.)Scroll down to see everything coming… Friday, September 4th Ancient China from Above (s1) D2: The Mighty Ducks D3: The Mighty Ducks Never Been Kissed Strange Magic Trick or Treat The Wolverine Mulan…

We’re cautiously optimistic about the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures live-action adaptation of “Mulan.” With Niki Caro (“Whale Rider”) directing, we were automatically interested to see what the ancient Chinese legend would entail in a new version. If you’ll recall, it was announced earlier this month that the film, a multi-million-dollar production, would be skipping full theatrical release due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, after being delayed several times in 2020. It’ll instead be premiering on Disney+, the House of Mouse’s streaming service, for a $29.99 additional fee. This is NOT a ‘rental,’ as the film will remain in the user’s…
Another day in 2020, another report that Walt Disney Studios REALLY thinks FOX’s “The New Mutants” will have an actual, honest-to-goodness theatrical release next week on August 28th.As of this morning, tickets for Josh Boone’s very late Marvel Comics X-Men spinoff flick went on sale, for a very hopeful fanbase. Along with the ticket sale announcement, new posters were released this morning. You can check Fandango’s website here for possible showings of “The New Mutants” in a theater near you.
We are so delighted to share this trailer for “Reno 911! Part 2,” coming to Quibi early next week. Starring Robert Ben Garant, Thomas Lennon, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Niecy Nash, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Cedric Yarbrough, Carlos Alazraqui, Ian Roberts, Joe LoTruglio and Mary Birdsong, we cannot wait for Quibi’s revival of the Comedy Central series. If you’ll recall, we were absolutely THRILLED to report that Ernest Cline has a sequel to “Ready Player One” coming out later this year titled, of course, “Ready Player Two.” The awesomeness doesn’t stop there, as it turns out Wil Wheaton (“Star Trek: The Next Generation”) will be returning to narrate the audiobook. Part of what made the RP1 audiobook so enjoyable was Wheaton’s reading of it. He perfectly captured Wade Watts aka Parzival’s spirit in the story. Honestly, we were hoping he’d made an appearance in Warner Bros. Pictures’ Steven Spielberg-directed live-action adaptation, and were very disappointed when he…
