This is something that’s been rumored for a few years now, and we’re kinda hoping it finally comes true. During an earnings call with Hasbro earlier this week, CEO of Hasbro Brian Goldner confirmed that the company is very much committed to seeing a live-action television series based on Dungeons & Dragons! “[The team is] also working on a couple of different approaches, because there is so much mythology in Canon to – Dungeons & Dragons for live action television. And there’s been very strong interest. We’ve talked about how many global streamers and terrestrial broadcasters have been very interested in…

The next chapter of “Halloween” won’t see the light of day til 2021. This sucks, but we’re willing to wait for something awesome. During yesterday’s Blumhouse Blumfest, a new teaser for “Halloween Kills” was released. Its….you know….a teaser for a Michael Meyers movie. Not really giving anything away, other than the Strode women being together again. We’ll watch anything with Jamie Lee Curtis, so, you know we’re in. You can see the “Halloween Kills” teaser here. It’s currently slated for an October 15th 2021 release date.

We need a minute to process the fact that Danny Elfman just released his very first solo single in 36 years (that obviously isn’t part of a score or soundtrack). Check out the official video release for “Happy” here. Something strange to keep in mind also is that yesterday, October 28th, marked the 35th anniversary of Oingo Boingo (which Elfman was lead vocalist for) releasing perhaps their most memorable album- “Dead Man’s Party.” Elfman released a statement to Variety to accompany the video release: “Halloween has always been my Big Night. As a child there was no competition. Coincidently, in…
We have a lot of thoughts about the upcoming David Bowie biopic “Stardust,” and we’re really not sure how to word them. First and foremost, this is an unauthorized biopic, one that David Jones’ (Bowie’s real name) family have gone on record saying they do not approve of. It’s unclear why, but the first full-length trailer for the film just released this week. Starring Johnny Flynn as a rather plastic-rendering of Bowie during his Hunky Dory phase and first trip to the USA which inspired his iconic Ziggy Stardust persona, “Stardust” was directed by Gabriel Range, and also stars Jena…
Just when we thought there couldn’t possibly be ANY good news to come out of 2020, Apple TV+ drops this fabulous bit of intel- Jon Stewart is returning to hosting duties. According to The Hollywood Reporter who exclusively broke this news, Stewart will be hosting a current affairs series. Apple TV+ is already talking about the new series for “multiple seasons,” and we couldn’t be more excited. No word on when this series may possibly see the light of day, but we’ll let you know when we hear anything concrete.
We are so pleased to report the news that yet another of our favorite animated series from the 90s is getting new life, thanks to HBO Max. “Tiny Toon Adventures” was ahead of its time in terms of story telling and introducing younger audiences to the ideas of satire and parodies in easily accessible cartoon-format. Sure, that’s not to say that other series didn’t do it first- but this was something special.HBO Max has apparently ordered an in-universe continuation story (not sure if reboot or what) called “Tiny Toons Looniversity.” Yes, Buster and Babs are back. Babs, Buster Bunny and…
First and foremost, this tease is really short. So short we debated about even COVERING it, but anything we can glean from Amazon’s “The Wheel of Time” has us interested and excited. The high fantasy series is reportedly finishing up production on the first season (so says Rosamond Pike), and this snipet of audio is our first aural feel of what the series will be like. We’re hoping this means a real trailer or character photos aren’t far behind. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other projects.
Morgan Rosenblum burst onto the sci-fi scene with a runaway success- his comic book debut, Treadwater Volume 1, captivated readers with complex characters fighting an unwinnable battle in a pre-apocalyptic scenario in 2003. Rosenblum has a new title on the horizon, “Winds of Numa Sera,” and needs your help to see it realized. “Winds of Numa Sera” is a medieval fantasy epic graphic novel series designed for audiences 16 and up, who are fans of “Game of Thrones” and “The Lord of The Rings.” Rosenblum is raising money to complete the first issue/book (60 pages) in the series. The success of Treadwater…
