If “The Terminator” himself could run and win a Governorship in California, why not Matthew McConaughey in Texas? “Politics seems to be a broken business to me right now. And when politics redefines its purpose, I could be a hell of a lot more interested,” the Oscar-winning actor said during a stop by the Hugh Hewitt Show. Hewitt went so far as to ask McConaughey if he’d be interested in running for the position of Governor of Texas, to which McConaughey answered “it would be up to the people more than it would me.” So, that’s not a no? And…

This new transformer is available for pre-order on Hasbro Pulse, and is expected to release on March 1st, 2021.

This just in, it would appear that Warner Bros. Pictures has finally come to the realization that movie theaters just aren’t going to be a viable sollution in all markets in 2020. That said, they are choosing to have “Wonder Woman 1984” reuniting star Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins, bow on HBO Max the same day it hits theaters. This story is developing, and once WB has made the official announcement public, we’ll let you know the details. Remember when talking about superhero’s….intimate parts….was a throwaway line in Kevin Smith’s “Mallrats?” It was funny because it’s true- something we ourselves have encountered [and ok, fine- started] conversations and actual arguments about for years. And, as it turns out, this is something Paul Bettany, who plays Vision for Marvel Studios, really wants fans to know about. As per the source material comics, we know that Wanda, the Scarlet Witch, (played in the MCU by Elizabeth Olsen) is able to get pregnant by Vision, and eventually gives birth to twin sons Wiccan and Speed. So, obviously, Vision has plumbing of…
If there’s one thing we’re all doing more of during 2020, it’s reading. This isn’t limited solely to books, either, as we’ve been revisiting full runs of comics, and some of our favorite manga. We are very pleased to report that PBS, the Public Broadcasting Service, will be airing both animated holiday classics “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” specials. This comes as a surprise, as earlier this year, AppleTV+ (who holds the rights for all Peanuts properties) announced the various holiday specials would be exclusively streamed from their platform, and not on any regular broadcast stations. PBS announced the news earlier today. “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will be available in HD starting on November 18th for Apple TV+ subscribers, and will be available for free for anyone to watch from…
It’s been a hot minute or three since we’ve heard anything concrete about SHOWTIME’s upcoming live-action “Halo” tv series. Last we heard, come to think about it, was when Pablo Schriber was announced as playing Master Chief. The news we have now is that unfortunately Natascha McElhone (“Nip/Tuck,” “Event Horizon”), who was set to play Cortana and her creator Dr. Catherine Halsey in “Halo,” has exited the series due to various scheduling conflicts that have arisen with the still ongoing worldwide pandemic [WEAR YOUR DAMN MASKS]. Who’s replacing her you might ask? None other than Jen Taylor, who played Cortana…
Yet another STILL ONGOING worldwide pandemic [WEAR YOUR DAMN MASKS] casualty is the legendary annual celebration in New Orleans to ring in Mardi Gras with a parade, which the city has now officially cancelled for 2021.There are days when it truly feels like 2020 has stretched into a five-year nightmare. We keep thinking of the “Star Trek: Voyager” episode “Year Of Hell,” because that really sums up this particular calendar experience. Communications Director for New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, Beau Tidwell, announced during a press conference yesterday the plans to outright cancel the parade. Tidwell said: “Parades of any kind…
