While no one was expecting a full film reboot of the “Resident Evil” franchise to actually happen, we will say that fans seem pretty eager to see what director Johannes Roberts has in store. “Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City” takes it’s cues from the first two games in the franchise, and sure sounds like it’ll follow those story lines more closely than the Milla Jovovich films did. In an interview with IGN, Roberts spoke about his vision for the reboot, and shared some first look images of the upcoming flick. “This movie really had nothing to do with the…

We’ve all been caught in a web of anticipation for Marvel Studios / Sony Pictures’ next installment in their “Spider-Man” franchise starring Tom Holland. Just a few days ago, someone leaked the trailer (no, not Holland), and it immediately lit the fuse of excitement. This week, CinemaCon kicks off in Las Vegas. First up for presentations is none other than Sony. “Spider-Man: No Way Home” will be directed by Jon Watts from a script by Chris McKenna. It’s currently slated to swing into theaters on December 17th, 2021. Okay but….DOC OCK.
We are BEYOND excited to share the news that Disney+ will be bringing another classic to the future. “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea” is one of our favorite live-action house of mouse films, and apparently the ol Nautilus is still sea-worthy.According to an announcement today, Disney+ has unveiled plans for a 10-part live action series, which will tell the backstory of Captain Nemo himself! James Dormer (Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands) is writing and executive producing. Director of Scripted Original Content for EMEA at Disney+ Johanna Devereaux will also executive produce.Xavier Marchand of Moonriver TV and Anand Tucker of Seven…
After over a year, Disney Parks is finally shedding some additional light onto their announced re-theming of iconic attraction Splash Mountain. We knew back in June of 2020 that the heavily “Song of the South” influenced ride would be getting a face lift, and that “The Princess and The Frog” was the new theme. But lots of questions still remained. When would this be happening? Just how much of the original decor would remain? Would we ever get a Tiana’s Palace restaurant in New Orleans Square? This morning, Disney released a new 30-minute round table discussion with Stella Chase Reese, Owner…
We are so very pleased to share this official first look at Netflix’s upcoming live-action adaptation of “Cowboy Bebop!” This is definitely one of those projects we’ve been waiting (rather impatiently) for, and we’ve gotta say, kinda worth it?Starring John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine, this space Western focuses on three bounty hunters, aka “cowboys,” all trying to outrun the past. The series also stars Alex Hassell and Elena Satine. Take a look: As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, and Faye Valentine form a scrappy, snarky crew…
It wouldn’t be a month in 2021 if we weren’t all speculating on the release of the “Spider-Man: No Way Home” trailer. After a fairly active weekend on the web (pun totally intended)- i.e. a possible ‘leak’- current Spider-Man star Tom Holland is once again fueling the fire. In a story posted to his Instagram, Holland sorta teases fans that they “ain’t ready.” The trailer is most likely going to premiere theatrically in front of Marvel Studios’ next release, “Shang-Chi.” But, sources all seem to agree Sony was going to premiere the trailer during CinemaCon 2021 happening this week in…
Remember when a certain public figure suggested injecting bleach might be a way to prevent/cure Covid-19? Yeah. We remember, and we still can’t believe there were actual people who believed it, did it, and suffered the consequences. In that same vein, apparently the newest NOT ADVISABLE craze includes ivermectin, a medication used to treat cows and horses suffering from parasites.Yeah, so, DON’T use medication that hasn’t been prescribed for you by your actual licensed medial doctor. And maybe also DON’T use medication that is not approved for humans. The FDA does mention in their public service announcement (seriously, they had…
We can’t be the only ones who’ve always wanted to try Disney movie food. Kinda like how almost every dish featured in a Miyazaki looks delicious, so too do certain House of Mouse snacks. Like Tiana’s world-famous New Orleans beignets as seen in “The Princess and the Frog!”Thankfully, Disney decided to share an official recipe to help all would-be chefs looking for something to do today. If you make these, let us know how they turned out!
We’re not sure if this is a case of too much creative time on your hands or what, but seeing comedian Ali Spagnola’s new video is totally worth it. Imagine coming up with the idea to turn your car into an actual, functional chia pet. Who DOES that?! Answer: Ali.
