    Pluto TV Celebrates William Shatner’s 95th Birthday with VOD and Streaming Marathon

    This Sunday, March 22, William Shatner is turning 95, and leading free streamer Pluto TV is celebrating Captain Kirk with a free, Trek TV takeover birthday celebration.

    Whether viewers are lifelong Trekkies or just looking to celebrate the legend that is William Shatner this weekend, Pluto TV is turning the milestone birthday into a party with the return of the Star Trek pop-up category and marathons and stunts on Sunday, March 22, all for FREE.

    Take a look at the special programming on Pluto TV below:

    Pluto’s Star Trek pop-up category returns Friday, March 20 through April 3 with the below channels: 

    • Star Trek: The Motion Pictures: also live in Movies + Sci-Fi through end of April; includes the full Star Trek film collection on VOD (full list below)
    • Star Trek: will feature The Original Series as part of the birthday programming
    • The Next Generation
    • Deep Space Nine
    • Voyager
    • Enterprise: returning as a standalone channel for the duration of the pop-up category

    Birthday Stunts on Sunday, March 22 with dedicated programming across channels:

    • Star Trek channel: all-day Original Series marathon for Shatner’s birthday
    • The Motion Pictures channel:  Star Trek films 1-6 starring William Shatner
    • Bonus: The Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner airs on Funny AF at 10 PM ET
