Author: Mary Anne Butler

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

Honestly, we’re kind of surprised it took this long for Bruce Willis to make headlines again. The tough guy decided he was too important to put on a mask while stopping by a RiteAid in Hollywood, CA. As you may know, Los Angeles and it’s surrounding counties are one of the worst areas for Covid-19 numbers right now. We really can’t blame the employees for reminding the actor to respect the signs hanging around the store, and of his civic duty to wear a damn mask while out in public.Bruce Willis literally had a bandana around his neck, but would…

As the days go buy, we’ll no doubt be getting additional confirmations of persons of interest who attended the Washington, DC failed coup attempt. The domestic terrorists stormed the nation’s Capitol Building, forcing their way into the Chambers of Congress and the Senate, desecrating the halls of law of the United States. The FBI went so far as to request the public’s help in identifying some of the individuals who, ill-advisedly, showed their faces (by not wearing masks) to cameras and took various forms of social media video during the insurrection. One of the persons the internet has seemingly picked…

As we predicted when news broke yesterday of Lucasfilm Games launching, it won’t JUST be “Star Wars” titles coming. Announced just this morning, an “Indiana Jones” game is in the works, with Bethesda teaming up with Lucasfilm Games to make it.If you’ll recall, Microsoft acquired Bethesda in 2020 for a cool $7.5 billion, and at present, there is no word on if this Indiana Jones title will be an Xbox exclusive or not. While it doesn’t look like Disneyland’s Anaheim resort will be opening to the general public for regular park fun anytime soon, it would appear the California home of Mickey Mouse will be a super site for Covid-19 vaccinations.According to local news outlet KTLA, the Disney Anaheim themepark location will be a dispensation site for one of the vaccines to combat the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The idea is to use the large, sprawling location to serve as a “super POD,” a site able to administer hundreds (if not thousands) of vaccines to residents. There is currently no publicly disclosed plan for…
