Yes, we know, why does Disney have to remake all their animated classics into live action films? The only thing we as audience members can really do is hope for the best most of the time. While we absolutely believe the Halloween season SHOULD last until at least the week of Thanksgiving, one of the harbingers of the Christmas season has been witnessed. We’re speaking of course of Mariah Carey, emerging from her hibernation, to usher in the beginning of the Christmas season. Oddly enough, we were JUST talking about the upcoming “Morbius” film, starring Oscar winner Jared Leto. A notable character from Marvel Comics, Michael Morbius becomes a Living Vampire while hunting for a cure for an unknown illness. Well…at least in this version. Adria Arjona stars as Michael’s girlfriend Martine Bancroft, who not only is important to the Vampire’s story, but also (in comics) ties into the Fantastic Four! While we’re still very much “Dune” focused right now, we couldn’t help but point out that stars Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya almost worked together before. If you didn’t know, Chalamet actually auditioned for the “Spider-Man” role that went to Tom Holland. In a recent chat with Josh Horowitz, Chalamet and Zendaya chatted about it just a tiny bit. The biggest take away from all these lovely interviews? The pair really do get along. “Dune” is currently playing in theaters worldwide, and available to stream on HBO Max.

Disney+ has released a new trailer for their upcoming Marvel Studios series “Hawkeye!” Starring Jeremy Renner as his “Avengers” character Clint Barton aka Hawkeye aka Ronin, we’ll see the eagle-eyed archer train his protege, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop. Florence Pugh is reprising her “Black Widow” role of Yelena Belova. Vera Farmiga will be playing Kate Bishop’s mother Eleanor. Fra Fee will be playing Marvel Comics character Clown, Tony Dalton will be Swordsman, and Alaqua Cox will be deaf Native American superhero Echo.
