Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

While we were hoping for a full trailer, this tease will have to do. During Xbox’s 20th anniversary live stream today, the first tease for Paramount+’s upcoming live action “Halo” series was released. Today during Xbox’s 20th anniversary live stream event, a documentary was announced. Consisting of 6 episodes (no YOU sang “The Toys That Made Us” theme song), “Power On: The Story of Xbox” will tell the tale of the creation, timeline, and troubles of the Microsoft gaming system. “Xbox almost didn’t happen. Find out why in this behind-the-scenes, six-part series that takes you back to the scrappy beginnings of Microsoft’s video game console. Hard to believe the Xbox is celebrating 20 years in 2021. Head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty announced a special anniversary live show was coming back in October. “We invite you to join us on Nov. 15 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Xbox and Halo with a fun, digital broadcast for fans around the globe. We’re pretty darn excited for another Marvel Studios’ series making its way to Disney+, “She-Hulk!” “Orphan Black” star Tatiana Maslany heads the show as Jennifer Walters, lawyer by day, hero by…day. Maybe you’ll recognize another familiar green face who helps Walters’ out, Dr. Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) still in his Hulk form. Perhaps our favorite flash from the tease?
