While filling us all in on a bit of tv history, Rob Zombie inadvertently let slip some big news. His upcoming film which reimagines classic tv family “The Munsters” is apparently going to rise on Netflix.
Zombie was pointing out the span of decades since the last time “The Munsters” and “The Addams Family” have shared the airwaves. Netflix is home to Tim Burton‘s first forray into television, a live-action series about a grown-up Wednesday Addams, eldest child of Mortitica and Gomez Addams.
This is the first we’ve heard of Zombie’s film, which is for Universal, hitting Netflix.
So, after 58 years, “The Munsters” and “The Addams Family” will be sharing the streaming waves together thanks to Netflix.
“The Munsters” will premiere sometime in September on Netflix, and “Wednesday” will theoretically be releasing around the same time.
