‘ALF’ series lamenters may finally have closure; Variety.com reports that Warner Bros. Television is in the early stages of developing a reboot of the classic sitcom “ALF,” Variety has confirmed with sources. No writer is yet attached to the project, which would again explore the misadventures of the titular, cat-eating ALF–which stands for Alien Life Form. In the original series, ALF of the planet Melmac crash lands in the suburbs and takes up residence with the middle class Tanner family. A report from Variety.com reveals new archived footage from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. A Wild West bookshop and an amorous pink knight never made it into the film alongside the killer rabbit of Caerbannog and the Knights Who Say “Ni!”, but the unused sketches have been unearthed in the private archives of Python member Michael Palin.
