The ninth season of American Horror Story, which has been confirmed to be called 1984, will begin airing on FX on Wednesday, September 18th. The season is said to be slasher themed. It has also been confirmed that fan favorite cast member Evan Peters will not be returning for this season. In 1981 Alvin Schwartz released the first in a series of terrifying “kids” books called Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.
