Riot, the creative team behind League of Legends, recently formed an interesting partnership with Limbitless Solutions. Limbitless is a non-profit organization based out of the University of Central Florida that creates prosthetic limbs for children. In a two-day hackathon Riot staffers dubbed “Thunderdome,” the staff created five new League-themed prosthetic arm designs. Although the partnership between the two companies is short-term, these new prosthetics will be available in Limbitless’ 2019 catalogue. Slightly over a month until its one year anniversary, Capcom is pulling out all of the stops with its latest Monster Hunter: World announcement. Based off of the hit manga series serialized by Natsuki Takaya in Hakusensha’s Hane to Yume magazine from 1998-2006, Fruits Basket received a television anime adaptation in 2001. In a statement Wednesday, Legendary unveiled its plans to adapt Kohei Horikoshi’s best-selling manga series My Hero Academia into a live-action feature film. Legendary, the same company behind the Ryan Reynolds led Detective Pikachu live-action movie, confirmed the news in a Nerdist.com exclusive. Legendary will be producing the My Hero Academia live-action movie alongside Alex Garcia and Jay Ashenfelter. Shonen Jump publisher Shueisha’s Ryosuke Yoritomi will also collaborate on the project. How the Defenders have fallen. Only days after the announcement of Iron Fist’s cancellation, Netflix confirmed that Luke Cage would not be returning for a third season. The announcement leaves only Jessica Jones and Daredevil as the last Defenders remaining.
