San Francisco will be hosting an immersive “Stranger Things” experience from FEVER in June. The Skylight at The Armory, located at 1800 Mission St., will be hosting the event. During Universal’s CinemaCon 2022 presentation, Jamie Lee Curtis introduced a new “Halloween Ends” trailer! The trailer is mostly made up of footage from previous films but there was a cool bit of new footage from “Halloween Ends” spliced in. The new footage shows Laurie Strode (Curtis) breathing heavily as she hides in a closet. Michael Myers (Nick Castle, James Jude Courtney) of course stalking the kitchen with his trademark knife. Southern California’s Stagecoach Music Festival is placing a ban on the confederate flag and other “divisive symbols.”  Some reporters and attendees noticed a new addition to the festival’s What Is Not Allowed In The Resort section. The General Resort Rules page of the website says “No divisive symbols, including, without limitation, Confederate flags and racially disparaging or other inappropriate imagery/public displays.” This is repeated on the website’s Not Allowed in Venue section of the General Festival Info page. A classic “Saturday Night Live” sketch featuring Steve Martin has begun to recirculate on Twitter. This happens- someone discovers a piece of comedy for the first time and it gets traction. But this time, there is a ‘controversy’ (real or imagined, you be the judge) surrounding it. Some Twitter users were alleging the sketch, a true product of the 70s, was culturally inappropriate. This is obviously a subject near and dear to both Lilly Wachowski and Lana Wachowski. The sisters are emptying their archives, and are offering “a bunch of cool shit” up for auction! Last week, a wedding in Tracy, CA went viral. San Joaquin County Sheriff deputies were responding to a noise complaint, but instead joined the party.The video is from a Punjabi wedding, which traditionally lasts for days. While neighbors were welcome to come and given a heads up about the noise, someone still called the cops. Newlywed Marvinder Toor was the one who answered the door for Officer Daniel De Lashmutt and his fellow officers. Toor agreed to turn down the music on one condition. “I went back to the sheriff and said ‘Come join come party with us,'” he said.…

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has revoked YouTuber Trevor Jacob’s private pilot certificate. Last year, Jacob posted a video titled “I Crashed My Plane.” The video shows him piloting a plane over the Los Padres National Forest. He claimed with the intent of spreading the ashes of friend Johnny Strange over the Sierra Nevada mountain. Strange passed away in 2015 while he was BASE jumping.  The video goes on to show Jacob cursing when a propeller stops spinning. He eventually opens the plane’s door, jumps out, and parachutes down. A Kentucky man has won a $450,000 lawsuit against his former employer for throwing him an unwanted birthday party. The trouble started in 2019 when Gravity Diagnostics held a party for Kevin Berling’s birthday. Problem is; Berling had requested they not celebrate due to an anxiety disorder. A reasonable accommodation, the company can save a few bucks on a cake and streamers. No problem, right? Unfortunately “the person who was responsible for the birthday parties who he talked to flat-out forgot about his request,” Berling’s attorney, Tony Buche, said.
