Man is least himself in his own person, give him a mask and he will tell you the world.

There are only a few animes in my repertoire that I will tell anyone and everyone they need to go see. Sailor Moon, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Soultake, etc. But I will now add “My Roommate is a cat” to the list. This lovely anime first got its start as a manga created by Minatsuki. It currently has five volumes out and I sincerely hope there are more to come. Originally it was released back in 2015, and finally received its anime adaptation this year (To watch you need Crunchyroll or sneaky friends). Our lead character is someone I think most…

As a rabid fan of 90s anime, I’ve been quite skeptical upon hearing that there was going to be a Netflix live action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop. Cowboy Bebop was created by manga writer Cain Kuga and the anime adaptation was directed by Shinichiro Watanabe. The anime is a futuristic western noir flare with bounty hunters. Trust me it’s worth it to watch. You’ll love each of the characters, even Ein the lovable corgi. Recently they have announced Mustafa Shakir (Jet Black) Daniella Pineda (Faye Valentine) and Alex Hassell (Viscious) as part of the cast. But even bigger news this…

My favorite Superhero was created 80 years ago. Yes the legendary Batman! As I reported before, more exciting news was going to be dropped, starting at Wondercon this past weekend. To kick off his 80th birthday with a bang DC’s very own publisher and chief creative officer Jim Lee told the crowd that Batman would be the inaugural inductee to the Comic-Con Museums Character Hall of Fame in a very special momentous ceremony happening this year at San Diego Comic-Con. At the  Batman 80th Birthday Panel this year which included some big star names who have helped bring Batman to…

Whether you are into Yaoi or not, you’ve heard about it if you are apart of anime culture. And if by chance you have Crunchyroll for the last several years you may have heard of a title called “Love Stage”. It is the anime adaptation of the manga created by Eiki Eiki of the same name. It’s a boys love anime about our main protagonist who’s name is Izumi Sena, he’s an otaku who comes from a very popular family. His father is a famous singer, his mother a famous actress, heck even his older brother is from a super…

Let’s face it people, we all have anime characters we get attached to. Here we are minding our own business and all of a sudden BAM they die, or a series of our favorite characters die. I dunno about you, but there are some that have still messed me up and I think about to this day. Here is to the good days where our characters survived. And having them die on us was not an option at all. As always there are spoilers here, so please don’t blame me for ruining any of these for you. 10. Nicholas D.…

This year a special Princess that my big sister loves with her whole heart turns the big 3-0. That’s right The Little Mermaid celebrates their 30th birthday this year. Seems like yesterday that my parents took my siblings and I to go to the movie store to pick up that classic VHS. I distinctly remember my sister and I trying to be mermaids. Now that I’m older I appreciate the movie, but I’m always going to be a bigger fan of Sleeping Beauty. Just recently Torrid has released that it will be releasing their own line of clothing for the…

Earlier this year Vans put out a collection of Led Zeppelin shoes. Now they have revealed that they will continue with this musical collab and have created a line in memoriam with none other than the iconic David Bowie. Faux fur, yellow suede, and the iconic thunderbolt, oh my! These were created from the inspiration from Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust, and Aladdin Sane. Come April 5th you will be able to claim them as your own through the vans website along with other affiliated retailers. Ground control to Major Tom. . .sorry couldn’t resist.

Hazelnut, is there any other better flavor out there? I mean really let’s think about it for a moment, can you truly say anything is better? Nutella is a spread that brings us the most enjoyment. Ferrero Rochere’s are little candies that bring us to pure paradise. Now M&M’s is getting in on this action and bringing us a new flavor, a better flavor than that horrid caramel (fight me). Rejoyce my friends and behold all its glory! It is going to be released next month just in time for easter! And if that is not enough to make you…

I think we all can agree voice acting is hard. Trying to portray an emotion into a microphone is easily one of the hardest things to do. You have to be able to sell it to whoever is listening, i.e. us. You have to feel what the character is feeling, you have to get that sense of the moment. Sean Chiplock is a voice actor and now a So-Cal native. He is a great friend to all and whoever has the pleasure to speak with him, is indeed captured my his warmth and big heart. He has lent his voice…

The internet has been abuzz since the first teasers of Endgame was released. And now folks we are less than a month away, and I dunno about you, but that 3 hour time is not scaring me away any time soon. The MCU PR team recently released some images of our heroes, sadly we get a glimpse as to who survived the snap, and who didn’t. Please do not scroll if you don’t want spoilers. We finally see the fate of Shuri and Valkerie, and I am a bit emotional right now. One thing that did stick out for me…
