The first episode of “The Mandalorian” season 2 hitting Disney+ this weekend only meant one thing: the return of Baby Yoda craze. The adorable little whatever he actually is wasted no time reinvigorating our love for him.
As quickly as he did in season 1, he has returned to dominate the internet once again. Fans haven’t skipped a beat in creating new ways to profess their undying allegiance to the little bundle of joy, and Pixel Playhouse has gone and done it. That’s right, “Baby Yoda: The Musical.”
The YouTube channel has numerous videos of reinventing pop culture phenomenon into Disney style musical numbers. Everything from TikTok to social distancing to Animal Crossing, the channel is proof that anything can be redone as a joyous musical.
Their newest video is a musical love letter to Baby Yoda, and it’s as catchy as any Disney musical could be. Silly and inventive, Pixel Playhouse recounts the magic and highlights of Baby Yoda’s adventures, even giving Mando his own “Hamilton” style rap song about The Child hijacking his show.
In a time of turmoil and division, nothing brings people together quite like Baby Yoda and The Mandalorian. Thanks to Pixel Playhouse, they are keeping the magic and joy of the child in a unique way. I for one, will be adding Baby Yoda: The Musical to my Disney Song playlist.
