Theme parks are closed right now and it’s a weird time for everyone. But that doesn’t mean we can’t try to enjoy some of the treats we used to get at the park. Many recipes have been put online some by the parks themselves. Disney has put out a variation of their Dole Whip recipe as well as their famous Churros. And now we’ve found a recipe for Universal’s Butterbeer which is straight out of the world of Harry Potter!

    What You’ll Need:

    • A mixer with a whisk attachment or a whisk and a strong arm.
    • Wooden Spoon
    • Mixing Bowls
    • Measuring Cups
    • Cups for serving(clear if you want to see the magic of what you just made!)

    Ingredients:

    • 1/3 Cup Butterscotch Syrup
    • 1 Liter Vanilla Cream Soda- Chilled
    • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
    • 1/4 tsp Caramel Extract
    • 1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter, Melted
    • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract or Vanilla Bean Paste
    • 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar

    To Make:

To start off making this you have to combine the cream soda with the caramel extract and butterscotch syrup in a bowl. Mix it well with a spoon and set it to the side.

In the mixer or in a separate bowl you can go to town whisking manually in, whip the heavy cream until it starts to form peaks.

Gently fold in the melted butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar and continue whisking until it’s all evenly spread throughout.

Pour the cream soda into a glass and top with the cream topping. And Viola! You have you’re very own Butterbeer you can drink form the comfort of your own home!
