The Offspring Covering Joe Exotic’s ‘Here Kitty Kitty’ is the Song We Didn’t Know We Needed

It’s no secret that Tiger King has captured the whole attention of the internet, causing an overload of wild theories, memes, and quotes across all media platforms. The show is so bizarre that almost every aspect of it and every person in it could get their very own Netflix Documentary Series and we would watch every single minute. Perhaps the most talked about story since Tiger King came riding into our homes is the the question of whether or not Carole Baskin fed her first husband to her tigers. The memes and conspiracy theories for this question are endless and hilarious, but perhaps the highlight of it all featured in Tiger King is Joe Exotic’s Song ‘Here Kitty Kitty.’ A little country ditty complete with a music video to match about a woman would fed her husband to her tigers.

It seems The Offspring took notice of the song and decided to cover it. Since the show airing it has come to light that the song isn’t actually performed by Exotic himself, it was performed by the Clinton Johnson Band and is just another weird twist in an endless maze of private zoo owners. The band was quick to acknowledge that it’s not a Joe Exotic song but said “like many of you, we are going stir crazy these days and we wanted to do something fun to put a smile on our faces, and hopefully on some of yours too.”

It seems no one is exempt from the boredom of Quarantine but it seems to have brought out the fun side of the Offspring. This is truly the cover we didn’t know we needed. Even their wives joined in on the fun. On the video post they added “The Offspring wives were group texting recently, and while they all agreed that they truly love their husbands, there are times when they’ve absolutely felt like feeding us to the tigers. In that spirit, we hope you enjoy this random song and video.” Here’s hoping none of their wives have a tiger and sardine oil handy. Enjoy.
