Yes, while sometimes the idea of recasting everyone in Netflix’s “The Crown” is frustrating, we do understand the desire to age up the main characters. So, today we have the first look at the big upcoming recasting for seasons 5 and 6.
Dominic West will be taking over as Prince Charles from the INCREDIBLE Josh O’Connor, and Elizabeth Debicki will be following Emma Corrin‘s absolutely earthshaking performance as Princess Diana.
Other big casting changes for seasons 5-6 include Imelda Staunton (“Harry Potter”) as Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, and Jonny Lee Miller as British Prime Minister John Major.
Production kicked off in July of 2021 for season 5, and we’re hoping for additional photos soon.
Seasons 1-4 of “The Crown” are available to stream now, only on Netflix.
