Charisma Carpenter, who starred in two very popular Joss Whedon tv series- “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” and “Angel”- has come forward with her account of just how toxic a person the filmmaker was (and probably is) to work with. In a very long and detailed post to her personal Twitter, Carpenter discusses her own experiences with Whedon, who has been at the center of numerous harassment complaints at this point, and throwing her support behind “Justice League” star Ray Fisher. We are very pleased to report that after several years of various states of development hell, a feature film based on Brian Jacques’ best-selling “Redwall” book series is finally happening! If you’ll recall, an animated film project titled “Mouse Guard” based on the same material was happening. That film was gonna star Idris Elba, Andy Serkis, Samson Kayo, Jack Whitehall, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Sonoya Mizuno, but ultimately got scrapped by Disney. Based in Scotland, cameras started rolling on the series 6th season earlier this week. Looking back, a Glenn Danzig vampire horror western film was kinda an inevitability. The former Misfits frontman has been a dabbler in filmmaking, but finally started production on “Death Rider In The House of Vampires” last year.The fanged western boasts a cast of Devon Sawa, Julian Sands, Kim Director, Eli Roth, Danny Trejo, and Danzig himself. “Death Rider in the House of Vampires” follows the Death Rider, who travels to the desert Vampire Sanctuary, ruled by Count Holliday. The sigh we just breathed when reading this news is perhaps one of the deepest and most incredulous of the last few years. We are so pleased to report that the long-gestating live-action “The Powerpuff Girls” series just officially got a pilot order from The CW! According to TVLine, the series will follow Bubbles, Blossom, and Buttercup from Craig McCracken’s Cartoon Network series. They are reportedly now “disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting. Just when we thought we’d seen the last of Oscar winning actor Jared Leto’s modern take on the Clown Prince of Crime, Zack Snyder has shared yet-another image of Joker from the director’s cut of “Justice League.” The black and white photo makes Leto’s almost skeletal face even more disturbing than we thought possible. Curtis is currently in talks to possibly star as Dr. Patricia Tannis, an NPC from Borderlands 2. Curtis is an avid gamer and geek, she’s even cosplayed several times with her children.
