Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

We are so excited to share the news that Don Cheadle will be returning to the MCU as James “Rhodey” Rhodes, aka War Machine, in the upcoming Disney+ series, “The Falcon and the Winter Solider.” During an interview on BroBible’s Post-Credit Podcast, Cheadle shared the previously unknown news: It’s really a fun and interesting and, by all imagination, completely open-ended — this can go anywhere. It’s great, I can’t wait to get in the room with the writers and figure out how all those things happen. You know, Rhodey shows up in Winter Soldier and Falcon’s show. So, it can be a lot.” Obviously,…

We’ll be the first to admit that a second “Suicide Squad” film was not something we were actively looking forward to. BUT THEN, someone at Warner Bros. Pictures had the brilliant idea to bring one filmmaker James Gunn, who had recently managed to push a fairly obscure superhero team into the stratosphere with his “Guardians of the Galaxy” films for Marvel Studios. How could we NOT be interested in his take? That’s not to say director David Ayers’ film is inherently bad, as it does get a lot of hate for not being perfect. Ayers has been nothing but supportive…

Absolutely no one was shocked when abuse survivor Evan Rachel Wood finally and bravely put a name to the person responsible for the trauma she recounted during her testimony to Congress during the House judiciary subcommittee hearing in 2018. Three years later, the actress revealed the person she’d been speaking about was none other than her former fiancee, shock rocker Marilyn Manson. We do want to point out that Manson had never been publicly named by Wood before this as her abuser, it was widely assumed to be the case.We recommend caution in reading through Wood’s testimony from 2018, as…

Who would’ve guessed that “Justice League” director Zack Snyder would be the best source of information for his highly anticipated film cut? Just this morning, Snyder shared another very artsy black and white photo, with a tease of another character making an appearance in the Snyder Cut of “Justice League.” Snyder’s post has what appears to be Jared Leto, styled almost like Heath Ledger’s version of Joker from “The Dark Knight.” Snyder’s comment obviously confirms that Leto’s version of Joker will make more than just an appearance in the film. “Justice League” will hit HBO Max on March 18th, 2021.
