Last night during the 2021 Emmys, Ewan McGregor was honored with Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series for Netflix’s “Halston.” Which he was fabulous in, by the way. Highly suggest binging it. Hot on the heels of an update from director Matt Reeves, “The Batman” composer Michael Giacchino decided to get in the action. It’s been a minute since we heard anything about Matt Reeves’ upcoming “The Batman.” Starring Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight, this new take from Warner Bros. After The CW tried (and failed) twice to adapt Joel Schumacher’s iconic 1987 vampire flick “The Lost Boys” into a series, sounds like a third attempt is on the way. This one is reportedly coming from Warner Bros. Pictures, and will be a film rather than a show. Jonathan Entwislte is currently set to direct, with Randy McKinnon tackling the script. William Lindsay Gresham’s 1946 novel “Nightmare Alley” is getting adapted into a new feature film by none other than Guillermo del Toro.
