Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

This particular potato is also the subject of some debate, as a group of farmers in India have revoked…

A disappointing attitude from showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss followed the finale, who seemingly gave up on trying to finish the epic in a fashion that measured up. Subsequent months saw the pair lose other gigs, like a “Star Wars”…

We are not even REMOTELY done showcasing themed yule logs. It’s like everyone decided 2021 was the year to make one. Including, as it turns out, Marvel Studios and Disney+. If you haven’t finished the “Hawkeye” series yet, you absolutely should. It’s charming, full of action, and so much better than it had any right to be. It’s also the inspiration for a yule log based on Kate Bishop’s (Hailee Steinfeld) NYC apartment. You’ll note the pizza boxes, so Lucky must be around SOMEWHERE. A playbill from “Rogers: The Musical” is also visible. And of course, the fire being lit…
