Recently, Gearbox set the internet ablaze with speculation with their ‘Mask of Mayhem’ trailer. The one minute and sixteen second trailer shows many familiar faces to the Borderlands franchise. Interestingly, these characters seem to be caught inside the titular Mask of Mayhem. Clearly this game will present the same zany chaos the Borderlands franchise is known for. The Nintendo Switch has been a highly successful console. Outselling the Wii U within its first year, the Switch sold over 14 million copies. Nintendo seems to have no intention of slowing the Switch hype train down either. It seems that Netflix is brewing up another anime project. The newest anime, Gods and Heroes, will be based on stories from Greek mythology. The series is being developed by the studio behind the Castlevania anime series, Powerhouse Animation. The minds behind Netflix’s live-action Death Note, Charley and Vlas Parlapanides, are the creators of this newest series. Lupicia, the popular Japanese tea retailer, is at it again! The company has once again teamed up with Donguri Kyowakoku or “Acorn Republic” to create Ghibli-inspired tea masterpieces! Players everywhere are joining in on a blackout to protest BioWare’s unbalanced loot system. The unrest began almost immediately after the game’s launch. Aaryn Flynn worked at developer BioWare for eleven years. During his time, Flynn oversaw the development of massive game franchises such as Mass Effect and Dragon Age. He even served as the company’s general manager from 2015-2017. However in September 2018, Flynn parted ways with BioWare to become general manager of the games tech company Improbable. March 1st marked a huge milestone for Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn. It marked two years since the game’s launch on the PS4. Additionally, managing director Hermen Hulst revealed that the game has now sold “well over” ten million copies. This number likely encompasses physical, digital and bundled versions of the game.
