After the massive success of “The Super Marios Bros. Movie,” Universal Pictures may be setting its sights on “The Legend of Zelda” as its next big video game adaptation. Emmy-nominated/winning actresses Elle Fanning (“The Great”) and Sarah Paulson (“Ratched”) have joined the cast of “I Am Sybil.” The new film is co-written and directed by Mirrah Foulkes (“Judy & Punch”). The project is based on the real-life case of Sybil, one of the first mainstream diagnoses of dissociative identity disorder (DID).* The name Sybil is a pseudonym given to patient Shirley Mason in the 1973 non-fiction novel “Sybil,” by Flora Rheta Schreiber. Every spooky season General Mills rolls out its iconic line of monster themed cereals. This year the company announced it will be adding a new character for the first time in 35 years, named Carmella Creeper! In March of 1971, General Mills released their first monster cereals with Count Chocula and Franken Berry. Singer/actress Rebbeca Marie Gomez, also known as Becky G, has officially joined the voice cast of Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming “Blue Beetle” movie. This project will be a family adventure film based on the DC Comics character. “Blue Beetle” will center around Jaime Reyes (Xolo Maridueña), and his titular alter ego. Get ready for another version of “Law & Order,” this time in Canada! Rogers Media has confirmed Citytv has ordered “Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent” to series. The announcement was made a day before Rogers Media’s virtual upfront presentation on June 6th.  “Law & Order Toronto” will be created in a joint effort by the Vancouver-based Lark Productions and Cameron Pictures Inc., in association with Citytv.
