Streaming pioneer Netflix is testing out a new search feature that harnesses the power of AI to better suggest movies and shows. The company is partnering with OpenAI software to make this a reality. Just when you think the “Star Wars” franchise has no worlds left to concur, it finds a new niche. “Andor” creator Tony Gilroy, has confirmed that Disney is working on a new horror project set in the universe. This is after he publicly made several, half-joking suggestions of where the “Star Wars” extended universe could go. There is a legal battle between CBS and Sony over the rights to distribute the syndicated game shows “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune.” On April 10th, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Kevin Brazile issued a tentative ruling for the case. The 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz” starring the late Judy Garland is an undisputed classic. The Las Vegas Sphere is partnering with Warner Bros. Discovery, Google Cloud, and tech company Magnopus to capture the “visionary spirit” of this legendary movie with a special presentation. But, they’ll be using AI for the experience. “The Wizard of Oz at Sphere” will use Google’s AI cloud and infrastructure to “reimagine” the film.
