LEGO has just announced a brand new EPIC The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell set. This set is based on the award-winning film adaptations by Sir Peter Jackson of the beloved J.R.R. Tolkien novels. This highly detailed set consists of a staggering 6,167 pieces. Video game developers Velan Studios have teamed up with toymaker Mattel on the new mixed reality game, “Hot Wheels: Rift Rally.” It will combine the thrill of a AAA racing game with the fast-paced reality of RC racing. “Hot Wheels: Rift Rally” will include the Chameleon RC car, four Rift Gates for track building, and a charging cable. The game itself offers two different ways to play, in Campaign mode where players set up the Rift Gates to create a mixed-reality race track. Creators of popular children’s series “PAW Patrol” recently celebrated the show’s 10th anniversary. They also recently launched their first spin-off series, “Rubble & Crew,” and opened up about the development process. “PAW Patrol” debuted in 2013 as both a toy line and tv series aimed at preschoolers. Both were created by Canadian company Spin Master, who distributed the series in the US through Nickelodeon. It centers around a group of six puppies who go on high-stakes rescue missions.
