According to organizers, Vera Drew the director and star of “The People’s Joker” pulled the movie from the Toronto Film Festival lineup. This cancels all other scheduled screenings during the film festival as well. “The People’s Joker” is the Chicago-born, Los Angeles-based Drew’s first feature film. Comedian and filmmaker Adam Sandler has announced an upcoming 15-city comedy tour with surprise guest(s). It’ll kick off on October 21st in Allentown, Pennsylvania. But, the tour will include stops in other major cities like Boston, Atlantic City, Tampa, and it will all wrap up in Savannah, Georgia on November 14th.
