In 2024, Brad Twigg (Shriekshow) unleashed Crackcoon onto the world. Now he is threatening promising to do it again.The sequel, Crackcoons is currently in pre-production with a Kickstarter campaign to get things rolling.
The follow-up film will have Twigg returning to direct from a script by Jon Killough (The Dead Next Door). Josh Wasylink (Psycho Goreman) will be handling the creature effect for these mutated trash pandas.
Crackcoon centers around the dealer of a new synthetically-altered street drug. During a car chase with the police, he tosses a bag of the drug out the window into some woods. From there a fuzzy little raccoon finds and eats it, turning them into a killing machine.
Crackcoons takes place a year after the event of the first film. This time another drug has dropped in the dying industrial town of Pittman; Blue Moon Skull Explosion. However, this whole family of raccoons ingests discarded crack. These blood thirsty little critters go on a rampage as they make their way to the annual Pepperoni Roll Festival.
Rosaria Eraso, Justin P. Martin, Michelle Bowser, Rick Jermain, and Chris Rhydings will reprise their roles. Jerry Ferrell, Chanda Rawlings, Floyd Ewing Jr., Frederick Cowie, Kay Leahy, Nicholas Yoder II, Brett Prickett, Scott Swope, Luba Hansen, Daniel John Kearney, Tim Hale, Chad Critelli, Aleen Isley, and Melissa Sapienza are joining the cast.
Crackcoons is shooting for a 2027 release, The Kickstarter is currently offering exclusive physical media, acting roles, producer credits, and more to backers.
