For the past 45 years, The Electric Mayhem Band has been the biggest rock band in Muppets history. But they have somehow managed to go unrecorded. “The Muppets Mayhem” will let viewers follow the eclectic band as they try to record an album and break into the human side of the music industry.

Disney+’s “The Muppets Mayhem” will give us 10 episodes of The Electric Mayhem Band doing what they do best, rocking out. The group is comprised of Dr. Teeth (Bill Barretta) on vocals and keyboards, Animal (Eric Jacobson) on drums, Floyd Pepper (Matt Vogel) on vocals and bass, Janice (David Rudman) on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot (Dave Goelz) on saxophone, and Lips (Peter Linz) on trumpet.
Along the way, they will be helped by human Nora Singh (Lily Singh), a young music executive who wants to help them record their album. As well as guide the old-school rockers through the modern-day music industry. Only time will tell if they are able to cross over into the human side of music. Or if they will simply remain the biggest thing since sliced bread on the Muppet music scene.

“Muppets Mayhem” also stars Tahj Mowry as Moog, Saara Chaudry as Hannah, and Anders Holm as JJ. Original music for the series will be provided by executive music producer and Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee Linda Perry. The new series is is written by Adam F. Goldberg, Bill Barretta, and Jeff Yorkes.
