We follow these one-hit-wonders as they reunite in the present day to try their hand at fame one last time. After waffling back and forth for months, Elon Musk has officially bought Twitter. His first order of business? Firing Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and Head of Legal Policy, Trust, and Safety Vijaya Gadde. This isn’t a surprising move considering how rocky the road to this acquisition has been. Musk initially agreed to buy the company in April, but spent months trying to get out of the deal. Mostly citing concerns about “the number of bots” on the platform. He also alleged Twitter was not being “fully transparent with him” about various aspects of the business. This went…
After a huge release earlier this month, Nickelodeon has already green-lit a “Monster High: The Movie” sequel. Mattel first introduced Monster High in 2010 as a new line of dolls, paired with a YouTube series. The plot revolves around the children of famous monsters and mythical creatures who live in the fictional town of New Salem. Where they attend, you guessed it, Monster High. Each monster is distinctly different to show inclusivity among the characters. Learning to love yourself for who you are is a common theme, and not a bad one considering it is geared towards younger viewers. “Monster…
Ozzy Osbourne and Ozzfest are back and it will be part of the 2nd virtual Metaverse Music Festival (MVMF)! Ozzfest started out as a touring festival founded by Ozzy and his wife, Sharon Osbourne. These shows are also normally headlined by Ozzy himself or with Black Sabbath. Over the years, the festival’s schedule became a bit spotty, often due to Osbourne’s health preventing him from performing. The last Ozzfest was…

George A. Romero’s 1968 genre-defining horror film “Night of the Living Dead” is getting a sequel. This project will be a collaboration between Village Roadshow Pictures, Chris Romero, the late Romero’s Sanibel Films, Origin Story, Vertigo, as well as Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s Westbrook Studios. It will be directed by Nikyatu Jusu (“Nanny”), and written by LaToya Morgan (“The Walking Dead”). While the plot is still under wraps, given the names attached it’s safe to assume some cannibalistic ghouls will be involved. “Night of the Living Dead” was shot in Pittsburgh, PA on a budget of $115,000. It…
HBO Max recently released first look images for “A Christmas Story Christmas,” an upcoming sequel to “A Christmas Story.” The original film came out in 1983 and is based on Jean Shepherd’s 1966 novel, “In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash.” It was directed by Bob Clark, who 9 years prior directed another extremely popular Christmas movie, the horror staple “Black Christmas.” But “A Christmas Story” is a family film that takes place in the 1940s. It tells the story of Ralph Parker (Peter Billingsley) who REALLY wants a Red Ryder Range 200 Shot BB gun for Christmas. He…
Hobby Lobby founder David Green is giving away the company. In explaining why, he directly referenced Yvon Chouinard, founder of the Patagonia outdoor apparel company. Back in September, Chouinard and his family put the ownership of the $3 billion company into a specially designed trust. This trust is created to preserve Patagonia’s independence, and ensure that all of its profits go to combat climate change. Which should certainly help considering the venture makes roughly $100 million a year. The major difference here is Green claims his decision to give away Hobby Lobby was because he “chose God.” He believes faith…
