After waffling back and forth for months, Elon Musk has officially bought Twitter. His first order of business? Firing Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and Head of Legal Policy, Trust, and Safety Vijaya Gadde. After a huge release earlier this month, Nickelodeon has already green-lit a “Monster High: The Movie” sequel. Mattel first introduced Monster High in 2010 as a new line of dolls, paired with a YouTube series. The plot revolves around the children of famous monsters and mythical creatures who live in the fictional town of New Salem. Where they attend, you guessed it, Monster High. Each monster is distinctly different to show inclusivity among the characters. In honor of World Vegan Day (November 1st), Oscar Mayer has asked people to abstain from eating bacon. The meat company is asking people to #BacOff for a chance to win a lifetime supply of meat candy.  A recent survey showed more than 50%of vegans have abandoned their diet for bacon. The same study showed 63% of vegans wish they could eat bacon. 59% said the smell of it cooking still drives a craving. George A. Romero’s 1968 genre-defining horror film “Night of the Living Dead” is getting a sequel. This project will be a collaboration between Village Roadshow Pictures, Chris Romero, the late Romero’s Sanibel Films, Origin Story, Vertigo, as well as Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s Westbrook Studios. It will be directed by Nikyatu Jusu (“Nanny”), and written by LaToya Morgan (“The Walking Dead”). HBO Max recently released first look images for “A Christmas Story Christmas,” an upcoming sequel to “A Christmas Story.” The original film came out in 1983 and is based on Jean Shepherd’s 1966 novel, “In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash.” It was directed by Bob Clark, who 9 years prior directed another extremely popular Christmas movie, the horror staple “Black Christmas.”  But “A Christmas Story” is a family film that takes place in the 1940s. Hobby Lobby founder David Green is giving away the company. In explaining why, he directly referenced Yvon Chouinard, founder of the Patagonia outdoor apparel company. Back in September, Chouinard and his family put the ownership of the $3 billion company into a specially designed trust. This trust is created to preserve Patagonia’s independence, and ensure that all of its profits go to combat climate change. Which should certainly help considering the venture makes roughly $100 million a year.
